Morphometry and morphology of otoliths in 2D and 3D
Otoliths are calcified structures found in bone fishes' inner ear, which they are responsible to biological functions of balance and audition. Their morphology and morphometry are inter-specific features that could be used for taxon identification. Our aim is creating new descriptors or improve the classical ones and apply recent techniques to otoliths images in 2D and 3D. This could provide information to ecologists, fishery biologists and other field related to Ichthyo.

Optimization of public transport system of Bahía Blanca
I analyzed provided data set from public transport system of Bahía Blanca. I was mostly interested in analyzing the peak hours and patterns in this period of time.After the analysis I performed visualization in system QGIS.

This is a deep learning project applied to human bones which have osteroporosis. The goal is to transform bad quality into better quality images with a deep learning approach. It will take part of Felix thesis about that. This will be useful because a poor quality images require less radiation from the image machine than a better quality one, and it is dangerous for both doctor and patient. That’s why we are trying to improve the image quality by ourselves to avoid a too long radiation exposition for people
